Do I need a driver's license for Snowmobile?

Vasatokka: Yes, a driving license is required by our partner. If you do not have a driving license, you still can join the snowmobile as a passenger on the second seat.

Kilpisjärvi: A driving license is not required.

I only have my car driver's license from my home country, can I use that?

You are welcome to drive the snowmobile if you use your car driving license from your home country. You have nothing to worry about!

Can I use my motorbike license for this snowmobile?

Unfortunately, a motorbike license is not accepted.

I only have a photo of my license, is it enough?

All decisions will be made by our partner, it is unsure if only a copy of the license is enough. 

Most likely they will require you to have the original one, but they sometimes make exceptions in some cases as well.

I would suggest that you should have your original license prepared in any case. If you are not able to have the original, please consult our partners at the destination.

If they are okay with it, you can join. If it is not possible, you can still join the snowmobile as a passenger on the second snowmobile seat. So in any case you can still join the tour so you have nothing to worry about :)

If I and my friend join one snowmobile, is the price divided by two, or the price is for one person?

If there are 2 persons joining the snowmobile tour (back and front when sharing the snowmobile), there will be 2 people / 2 spots, so the payment for each shall be made :)

For instance, if a spot is 95€, then 1 snowmobile for 2 people is 190€
