Yes, if you bought your travel insurance from an insurance company, you need to contact them to get information on their refund policy.
In some cases, they might request a travel document from us if you would like to claim the refund. We are happy to provide you with a paper stating:
- you booked our trip
- you did not join our trip or activities
- the reason for the absence
- confirming that we were not able to refund you
Afterwards, you are more than welcome to use this paper and all your documents to submit and get a refund from your insurance!
